Nurse’s apron

This apron was owned by Margerite Scott (1895-1972), a descendant of Walter Scott who owned the Grove Farm just outside of Pakenham, which she wore as a practicing nurse. While the apron has been cleaned you can still see the signs of the work that she did in her profession and the role that she played in her community. We want to thank Margerite and all nurses past and present for keeping our communities healthy.
