Visit the North Lanark Regional Museum to experience a historic Scenes of Christmas Past exhibit. Explore our vintage decorations, toys and Christmas card collection—the survival of which is a tale of its own! Take a peek at festive newspaper articles and photographs from winters past featuring sleigh rides and ice skating, historic snowshoes and toboggans, and Christmas books that have been around for almost two centuries.
Scenes of Christmas Past can be viewed at the North Lanark Regional Museum from 21 November to 3 February. We’re open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until December, and Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the New Year. Admission is by donation. Contact staff at the North Lanark Regional Museum for more information!
